Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I officially reserve my date and time?

To officially reserve your session date and time, a sitting fee is required at the time of booking. For weddings, a 30% retainer is required to secure your date. Once the retainer or sitting fee is paid and your contract is signed, your date is officially locked in.

2. When is the remaining balance due?

Remaining balances are due 48 hours before all portrait sessions. For weddings and elopements, final payment is due between 3–8 weeks prior to the event, depending on your collection. Seasonal mini sessions require the remaining balance one week before the session date.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

For weddings and elopements, date changes may be accommodated with sufficient notice, pending availability. Retainers are nonrefundable and cancellations require 90 days’ notice. Portrait session cancellations require 14 days’ notice; sitting fees are nonrefundable. Rescheduling portrait sessions is limited to weather-related circumstances.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Yes. All sessions include a high-resolution digital gallery delivered via an online link. From your gallery, you can easily download, share, and order professional-quality prints, wall art, and albums directly. I am happy to assist with any custom orders as well.

5. Do you help with outfit or location planning?

Yes. Every session includes a session guide with outfit tips, color palette suggestions, and location guidance to help everything look cohesive and photograph beautifully. I’m also happy to recommend locations or help you narrow down options so you feel confident going into your session.

6. Can sessions be held in-home, in studio, or outdoors?

Yes. Depending on the session type, sessions can take place in your home, in a studio, or at an outdoor location. Studio sessions in Savannah do not require an additional studio fee. Outside of the Savannah area, a studio fee may apply and will be discussed during booking so there are no surprises.

7. Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Payment plans are available for select collections, including weddings and The First Year Collective. If a payment plan would be helpful, just let me know and we can discuss available options.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

Turnaround time varies by session type. Portrait galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks, weddings within 6–8 weeks, and elopements within 3–4 weeks. Weddings and elopements also include sneak peeks within one week of the event.
