TYBEE ISLAND ELOPEMENT
Clayton + Nadine’s Sunrise Elopement on Tybee Island
Clayton and Nadine’s sunrise elopement on Tybee Island was one of those mornings that felt calm from the very beginning. We started with the prettiest pink sky over the water, and while we waited for the sun to come up a little more, they took a quiet walk down the shoreline together before beginning their ceremony. It was simple, intimate, and completely centered around the two of them.
A Quiet Ceremony by the Water
Once the light came up a little more, Clayton and Nadine made their way over to the rocks for their ceremony. With the ocean behind them and the beach still quiet, everything felt incredibly calm and intimate.
Their ceremony was simple and personal, and it was so clear how comfortable and happy they are together. They both have such warm, bubbly personalities, and that made the whole morning feel easy from start to finish.
After the ceremony, they slipped off their shoes and headed straight for the water. From there, we spent some time walking the shoreline, getting their toes in the ocean, and taking a mix of portraits together and individually before moving over toward the jetties.
By this point, the sun had finally started to come up over the horizon, changing the whole feel of the morning. The soft pink sky we started with began turning warmer and more golden, and the jetties gave us the prettiest spot to keep creating portraits as the light changed around them.
Clayton and Nadine were completely relaxed by then, barefoot and just enjoying the morning together. We played around on the rocks, caught some of that beautiful sunrise glow, and even had a pod of dolphins swim by in the distance. If you’re local to Tybee, you know that isn’t exactly unusual, but it still never gets old — especially on a morning like this.
It was such a sweet way to finish their sunrise elopement and soak in those first quiet moments as newlyweds.
